雪だるまつくろう〜米国株&米国債でインカム投資しながら英語を極めるブログ

先日、今年の雪だるま10種を発表しました。



雪だるま10種　BND, VGLT, VT, VTI, VDC, VHT, VGT, SPYD, JNJ, UL　です。


10種中、
2種が債券ETF。
6種が株式ETF。
2種が個別株です。


ぶっちゃけると、2種でも良いのです。それは、BNDと、VTです。

それだけだと面白くないので、トッピングした結果です。



世界中の債券に分散するという点では、BNDXを推す人もいます。しかし、私は米国のみが好みです。実は、米国の生債券の方がもっと好みですが、割愛しています。



株式については、現在は、世界中の株式に広く分散する (VT) 方が、米国株のみ (VTI) よりも好みです。



米国株全体に分散する (VTI) のと、VDC, VHT, VGTの3セクターのみへの分散は好みで言えばどっこいどっこいです。

が、リセッション/暴落に対処する態勢を蓄える意味では、VDCとVHTに比重を置きたいとも思います。

とは言っても、どうなるか未来はわかりませんので、逆にアンダーパフォームしてしまうよりはVTIを積み立ててゆく方が、私情を廃する意味で良いかもしれないと思い、難しいところです。VOO, IVV, SPYでも良いです。


スイングトレードに使うかな？？いや、欲をかくべきではない。



SPYD, JNJ, UL は、配当株です。

BND, VT, VTI 等からこぼれ出てきた分配金や、保有中のポートフォリオから出てきた配当を、これらに再投資して行きます。VYMとHDVも候補に入っています。もしも、全世界の高配当株に投資するVYMIがSBI証券で買える様にったら、それもトッピングします。

VIGも、買う候補に入っています。


SPYDは、不動産系や公益株が多数含まれているため、REIT的なポジジョンを間接的に増やしてゆくツールとして、使えると思っています。




まとめると、

雪だるま10種は、均等配分ではない。

雪だるま10種改め、雪だるま3種　BND, VT, VTI　とする。

債券ポジジョンに気まぐれでVGLT等の長デュレーション戦略を加えるかもしれない。

SPYD, VYM, VYMI, HDV, JNJ, UL等で、配当戦略をトッピング。

VDC, VHT, VGTで、セクター戦略をトッピング。

シーゲル流のアレンジを目指すってことですね。

グローバル戦略は、上記にすでに含まれている。

2020年2月末から、NYダウ等が、最高値から10%以上も下がりましたね。

当然、買い増し、新規買いを強気で行っていきたいところです。




私が買いたいのは、米国株と、世界に分散された株式ファンドです。買いたいものが多いのですが、買いに回せる資金はそこまではありません。

気長に行きたいものですが、また反転することを考えると、機会損失を悔やむかもしれません。

基本的に、株式：債券+現金 = 75：25 を守ってゆくように買って行きたいです。

これって、株式で下がった額と同等分を現金から移すのでは、比率は違うんですよね。当たり前ですが。意外に難しいです。




熟考し、いくつか買いました。



まず、VGT買い。

このセクターは比較的大きく下げたので、リバランス目的で買いに動きました。



VZ (ベライゾン) 一部売り→ SPYD買い増し。

個別株ウェイトを徐々に下げてゆく一環です。



VT買い。

BRKB買い。

2、3月分の買いです。ショボい量ですが、VTへの積立てを継続します。
初めて、バークシャーハサウェイを買いました。
ウォーレン・バフェットの最新の手紙を読み、やはり、この会社の株主でもありたい！と思い、念願の買いを入れました。



UL買い、DEO買い、MDT買い、BHP買い。

オランダ株のユニリーバを買い増し。保有中のJNJを超えて、保有トップに躍り出てしまいました。
イギリス株のディアジオを買い増し。
アイルランド籍のメドトロニックを買い増し。
オーストラリア株のBHPビリトンを買い増し。

いずれも、ショボい額ですが、世界に広く展開している会社が好みでして、買ってしまいました。





更に、何を買いたいか？？？

資金がめちゃくちゃあるなら、VTをドカーンと買いたいのですが、そんなにないと、そうでもないんですよね。

保有中のポートフォリを眺めていると、その崩れた比率を均す (ならす) ように、少しずつ買っていきたくなってしまうんですよね。それもバイアスなんでしょうが、インデックスと個別株を、ミックスでうまく取り入れてゆこうと思います。



もし、ゼロからポートフォリオを組むなら、

BND 15%, 現金 10%, VT 30%, VTI 30%, SPYD 10%, VGT 5% にしてみたいですね。

証券投資を初めてから、まる8年が経ちました。

そして、9年目に突入しました。


今までの配当・分配金・利金・キャピタルゲインの合計も順調に伸びており、感慨深いです。

トータルリターンではVOO全力買いに劣後していますが、個別株が好きだからこそ、勝手にディフェンシブと思い込んだ銘柄をガツンと深く考えずに買ってきた時もありました。このため、満足のゆく投入額になっています。

現状まででは大怪我はしていません。めでたいです。



受取り配当金の累計をKPIとすればよい、というブログ記事を読みましたが、配当投資家では、すでにそれを集計してきている人が多いと思います。

含み益と併せた、トータルリターンが重要ですけれどね。



これからは、個別株から足は洗いませんが、乱高下に気をつける意味と、安定的に運用してゆく意味で、インデックスとリバランスによる自動操縦運用に力点を置いて行きたいです。

「寒い」は形容詞ですが、英語では、少なくともこれに相当する5つの形容詞があります。

cold, chilly のCで始まる2つ。
frigid, freezing, frostyのFRで始まる3つ。

5つともそこまでは難しくないですから、とりあえず、読んだら分かるレベルにしたいですね。

使えるために、何よりもcoldの表現の幅を広げたいですね。

英検1級の二次試験に、落ちました。

当然のごとく、実力不足を噛み締めています。



今後の英語の勉強方針に大きな影を落としており、私は、より発信力アップのための勉強に集中することにしました。

すなわち、大量に、かつ、比較的質の高いアウトプットを中心に英語を勉強することに大決定しました。

英語のブログ記事を書くことも、アウトプットの方法の一つなのではないかと思い、今後の勉強方法に取り入れてゆきたいと思います。

My father, a milkman, gone for long hours each day, knowing from his own childhood what street profanities were like, forbade such language in our house and told my mother to send me to my bedroom if I transgressed.
One day I forgot myself and uncharacteristically ran off a string of curses at my older brother; and so, deservedly punished, I was kept in my room for a week. It being summer, I could see my friends playing outside and hear waves break, the ocean being a block away. I learned my lesson. My language at home, thereafter, was as clean as clean could be.

What an embarrassment to our country at home and on the world’s stage; a terrible role model to our children; a man who seemingly never learned how to moderate his temper or his language.

コロナウィルスに関連する市場の過剰反応が続いていますね。


As we experience eye-popping market volatility related to the novel coronavirus, termed COVID-19, current values of invested capital fluctuate accordingly at a large rate.


What can we do?
How can we take action?


The thing is, not timing the market, but just sitting tight and mechanically revalancing assets by selling some assets on the rise and buying others on the dip.


Actually, I sold VGIT, an intermediate-term government bond ETF, and bought HDV, a stock ETF. This move within my portfolio literally means revalancing and adjusts my portfolio's risk.


Moreover, I did some portfolio arrangement, selling individual stocks including ABBV, PFE, T, VZ and others, and buying a large chunk of SPYD, a high dividend stock ETF. Through this repurchase, I tried to lessen the dependency on indivisual stocks on the whole, decreasing the indivisual risk and focusing merely on the market risk.


However, market correction is still on the move, which means further monitoring and revalancing is required down the road.

I have studied English for more than two decades. However, honestly speaking, I have had hard times outputting English, spoken or written. The truble is difficulty in putting what I think into words in a correct way.


Mind if I use English incorrectly?

Mind if I stop my tongue between speeches in front of Eiken interviewers, who are in charge of testing my English fluency and proficiency?


If I faltered, stammered, or were silent in my speech for a few seconds, that would mean a lack of fluency.

Actually, I can't convey my thought so swiftly or completely, and this means I am not fluent enough.



How am I able to communicate with someone so fluently?

The answer is: practice, practice, and practice again.

Just concentrate on the fluency, not on grammatical correctness at first. Everyone does grammatical errors in the beginning.



In conclusion, some quantity of doing output is absolutely nessesary to acquire English fluency. Probably quality comes next.

Just have fun with outputting tons of English!

We saw another dip in the stock market.

I am surprized, astonished and staggered by this, but, short of being flabbergasted or dumbfounded, because yet another plummet would be waiting for us.



I am confident about my investing thesis for the following three reasons.

Firstly, however hard the market will be hit, the real economy will continue on and on. In light of this, American and world economy will ride out the coming recession and record a new high in the long run.

Secondly, even in the downturn I will be rolling in dividends, interests and distributions in the coming decade as long as companies and treasuries remains profitable on the whole. These passive income will be reinvested in other lucrative stocks and keep on snowballing year after year.

Thirdly, I am now in the accumulation phase of creating my decent nest egg. Thus, future market downturn is a boon to my investing career for more than a decade or two. Moreover, in order to staying in the market and sleep well at night, I am in the way of reorganizing my portfolio to lessen the dependency on individual stocks and employing more ETFs.

In conclusion, for the above-mentioned three reasons, sturdy and profitable US and world markets on the whole, reinvestment of passive income and creating favorable opportunities for my wealth accumulation, I am relaxed to continue investing forever.

Don’t time the market, just hold them, and buy more. This is my contingency principle.

During the novel coronavirus-related market downturn, valuation-related logic has abandoned the market for the time being.

As such, we are seeing quality companies being knocked down like balling pins, or thrown away like skittles. My portfolio has lost more than 25% value in less than a month.


I honestly could not be happier.


I could buy irrationally oversold quality stocks for a while. What can I pick and choose? New positions like Sisco (SYY) and Genuine Parts (GEO), or addition to Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) and Pepsico (PEP)?


Nonetheless, my greatest concern is not what to choose among individual stocks, but how and to what extent to employ ETF/funds. In short, ETF/funds ratio within my portfolio is the greatest concern.

I am determined to keep my stock/bond ratio to 75/25, but I haven't decided the ETF ratio within the stock position yet. I haven't been actually obliged to do that, but I have preferred and accumulated more stock ETFs over the last year.

I will pay more attention to the ratio, than to the amount of ETF/funds.
