コロナショックでも淡々と買ってゆくべし。What I sold and bought

コロナウィルスに関連する市場の過剰反応が続いていますね。


As we experience eye-popping market volatility related to the novel coronavirus, termed COVID-19, current values of invested capital fluctuate accordingly at a large rate.


What can we do?
How can we take action?


The thing is, not timing the market, but just sitting tight and mechanically revalancing assets by selling some assets on the rise and buying others on the dip.


Actually, I sold VGIT, an intermediate-term government bond ETF, and bought HDV, a stock ETF. This move within my portfolio literally means revalancing and adjusts my portfolio's risk.


Moreover, I did some portfolio arrangement, selling individual stocks including ABBV, PFE, T, VZ and others, and buying a large chunk of SPYD, a high dividend stock ETF. Through this repurchase, I tried to lessen the dependency on indivisual stocks on the whole, decreasing the indivisual risk and focusing merely on the market risk.


However, market correction is still on the move, which means further monitoring and revalancing is required down the road.
